We have two excellently maintained VS-C1 simulators for sale...

The VS-C1 sailing simulator is the cockpit of a racing dinghy that pivots on an A-frame with a pneumatic ram emulating the wind force. Attached to the cockpit are sensors that feedback rudder angle, boat heel angle and mainsheet tension to the computer. As a sailor you control the rudder and mainsheet, and by hiking you determine the boat's angle of heel. You can sail one of a variety of boats including a Laser or a 29er.

This is not a computer video game - with these machines you sail the boat with a tiller and mainsheet and you hike to keep the cockpit upright. You can set different racecourses, adjust starting sequences, add tide effect, wind shifts and gusts, to suit the experience of the sailor. When coaching a sailor on the simulator you can pause to explain a teaching point, and you can re-wind to repeat and correct a start, mark rounding, tack or gybe manoeuver.

We have two excellently maintained VS-C1 simulators for sale. The simulators can be used individually, or they can be linked to allow realtime racing. We have two simulators available at the price shown, but can offer a discount for the two together. They are in very good working order and come complete with Jun-Air silent running compressors - ready to use for teaching, training, or at exhibitions and events.

These simulators have been used as a highly successful event attractions at boat shows and race villages across Europe (Berlin, Paris, Vigo, Barcelona, Amsterdam, Sable D'Olonne, Concarneau, Le Harvre, St.Malo...) and have become a regular attraction at the RYA Dinghy show, most recently used at Farnborough in February 2025. The most valuable use of the simulator is however as a dry-land sail trainer in conjunction with a sailing programme.

DELIVERY:  We will deliver and setup the simulator and show you how to operate it for travel expenses £0.50 per mile (round trip mileage), plus accommodation cost if required.
